Not only solid medication can be packed but also liquid medication.  Using the special option on the machine to program a fixed number of cycles until the machine stops or using a pharmaceutical grade liquid dosing pump both small and large batches can be packed.

Packing of stability tests – Pentapack’s machines are well known for their flexibility with various types of films.  Combined with the low cost in tooling it becomes ideal machine to pack stability tests.

Packing of clinical trials – Pentapack is a market leader when it comes to manufacturing machines for the packaging of clinical trials.  Oral solid products as capsules and tablets can be dosed pocket per pocket and up to 4 different products simultaneously. This can be achieved by means of round vibrators or robot pick and place units.  The entire process can be monitored by vision systems that checks every step of the way.

BP Series

Blister machines for blister pockets up to 40 mm deep.

  • Packaging production runs needs to be done in the most economical way.  With the BP series Pentapack NV offers a flexible tool for packing these runs at a low tool cost and bigger output.
  • Printing can be generated on the front and back-side of the blister by thermos transfer printers or by a standard platen printer.  Preprinted lidding material with steering mark can be used as well.
  • No special training is required, very easy to use and very low maintenance.
  • Manual or automatic filling.
  • Inspection systems (eg. color camera system) can be combined with pick-off units to sort out good & bad blisters and stack blisters in to piles for further treatment.
  • Depending of the version the BP series can produce blisters up to 40mm deep. Combine this with a film up to 160mm wide and you can pack ampoules, vials and even small prefilled syringes.  Making an assembly with multiple products is certainly possible.

SP Series

Series of fast and versatile blister machines

  • Packaging production runs need to be done in the most economical way.  The SP series allow to produce blister packages in a flexible way and at a high output.
  • This machine is completely equipped with servo drives in each station.  This allows a complete and individual setting and control of each station.
  • Printing can be generated on the front and back-side of the blister by thermos transfer printers or by a standard platen printer.  Preprinted lidding material with steering mark can be used as well.
  • No special training is required, very easy to use and very low maintenance.
  • Manual or automatic filling.  Even the introduction of filling by means of a robot system is possible.
  • Inspection systems (eg. color camera system) can be combined with pick-off units to sort out good & bad blisters and stack blisters in to piles for further treatment.
  • The SP series can produce blisters up to 40mm deep. The opening of the individual stations is according to the depth of the pocket.
  • Combine this with a film up to 250mm wide and you can pack ampoules, vials and even small prefilled syringes.  Making an assembly with multiple products is certainly possible.
